AI Now comments to Canada Office of the privacy commissioner on Data regulation and AI
AI Now submitted written comments to the Canada Office of the privacy commissioner on Data regulation and AI as part of its consultation on proposals for ensuring appropriate regulation of artificial intelligence.
They namely highlight that there may be limits to trying to address all risks and harms associated with AI, especially exclusion and discrimination, within the data protection framework and advise for a better definition of AI.
