Tuesday November 12 was held the first meeting of the new advisory committee on cyberjustice of the Government of Quebec.
Pr Nicolas Vermeys — assistant director of the Cyberjustice Laboratory and researcher for JusticIA — has been nominated by the Minister Responsible of Government Digital Transformation to be part of this new advisory council and to address the various challenges ahead that raises about the issue of cyberjustice in Quebec.
Chaired by the minister, the committee compose itself with specialists from fourteen organizations from the public, scientific and industrial sectors. These experts have already addressed the issues surrounding system resilience, skills development and talent attraction. The committee will allow at the end to a better respond on the new issues of information security, personal data protection and government digital transformation.
